The Physical Science Laboratory (PSL) is looking for an R&D Software Developer to join their Telemetry Missile Systems (TMS) team to assist in the design, development, and implementation of software operating systems for a classified project.

Requirements

  • Full lifecycle application development.
  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
  • Software modeling and simulation.
  • Front end graphical user interface design.
  • Software testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Must maintain clearance throughout employment
  • Position is subject to random drug testing in compliance with its drug-free workforce requirements.
  • This position has been established as a primary key position under the “All Hazard Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)” and is essential to operational continuity and/or recovery.
  • In an emergency situation, primary key positions are required to report to work unless directed by supervisor or public safety authorities not to report for health and safety reasons.
