Torch Technologies is seeking a Radio Frequency Simulator Developer to support the 23rd Electronic Warfare Squadron (23 EWS) in developing and testing mission data to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in basic RF principles and its applications
- Knowledgeable in intelligence data
- Experienced in programming and running electromagnetic environment simulations, CEESIM and Keysight Simview desired
- Programming skills and knowledge of various programming languages
- Testing and debugging skills related to mission data development and testing
- Experience in the development and implementation of MD on aircraft electronic warfare (EW) and/or defensive systems
Responsibilities
- Designs RF Threat Simulations and Scenarios for 23 EWS/SWB
- Functions as technical lead for RF simulation design, development, testing, and evaluation on the applicable EW systems
- Collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure mission data design, development, and testing meets customer requirements
- Gathers, interprets, and programs RF emitter definitions using EDG, Spectre, and other relevant software referencing applicable intel sources
