VSolvit is looking for a Junior Developer to join their team, to work on front-end and back-end development, and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment to deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Academic or professional experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vite,Vue.js)
- Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Exposure to Node.js, C-Sharp, and SQL through coursework, internships, or projects
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Internship, co-op, or 1–2 years of experience in software development
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and their integration
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices
Responsibilities
- Build user-friendly interfaces using React or Vue.js
- Apply HTML5 and CSS3 skills to create responsive and accessible web applications
- Assist in developing server-side applications with Node.js
- Learn and apply C-Sharp and SQL for backend integration and database queries
- Support integration of Tableau dashboards and reports into applications
- Gain familiarity with embedded metadata and analytics-driven features
- Collaborate using Git for version control
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent project/internship experience)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment
