The National Security Sector within Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a complex program providing Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program supporting the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) within Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Requirements
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and working in a SecDevOps environment
- Experience working with containerized applications preferably utilizing Konvoy
- 3+ years’ experience developing cloud ready applications and/or experience migrating applications to the cloud
- 8+ years of experience in one of the following: JAVA, Springboot
- Minimum 5 years of frontend development experience in at least 3 of the following: React, Redux, HTML, CSS, JSX, ES6, Redux, JSON, NPM, Node
- Proficient in JAVA, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React and its core principles
Responsibilities
- architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems
- exercise judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints
- participate in and/or direct major deliverable of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing
- develop cloud ready applications and/or experience migrating applications to the cloud
- work with containerized applications preferably utilizing Konvoy
- develop with Microservices/RESTful APIs
- work with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT)
Other
- BS/BA degree and 12 years of related experience or Master’s with 10 years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Self-starter with experience with Enterprise level applications and can guide large team
- Must be in Ashburn, VA, twice a week
- Active Full CBP BI
