Washington Federal is looking to build a secure, high-performance mobile banking app and needs a skilled React Native Developer to help with its development, compatibility across devices, and publishing to app stores.

Requirements

  • at least 2 years with React Native
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Experience with native iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and/or native Android (Java/Kotlin) development
  • Proven track record publishing and maintaining apps in both iOS and Android stores
  • Experience integrating third-party SDKs without existing React Native wrappers
  • Strong understanding of centralized state management (Redux preferred)
  • Familiarity with cross-device and cross-platform testing tools like BrowserStack

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
  • Publish and manage releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Integrate native SDKs using Objective-C/Swift (iOS) and/or Java/Kotlin (Android) when needed
  • Write and maintain unit tests (Jest or similar) to ensure app reliability and stability
  • Test and debug across multiple devices and screen sizes, using tools like BrowserStack
  • Implement and manage centralized state using Redux (preferred) or similar
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver secure, user-friendly features
