Booz Allen is looking for a front-end developer to help create a system that will make a difference, by developing software and systems from vision to production ready, and helping clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, including REACT
- 2+ years of experience developing Geospatial Information System (GIS) maps, including ArcGIS
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Experience with Javascript, Python, C, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, and software products
- Experience with ArcGIS
Responsibilities
- designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
- developing Geospatial Information System (GIS) maps, including ArcGIS
- writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- identifying needed system improvements
- helping make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
- using passion to learn new tools and techniques
Other
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 7+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Must be willing to be on camera during interviews and assessments
