Deloitte is looking to hire an experienced React/UI Developer - Project Delivery Senior Analyst to design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for desktop applications using WPF and C-Sharp for one of their leading clients. The role also involves upskilling to React for future migrations and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing user interfaces using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), including a strong grasp of XAML, MVVM patterns, and UI design principles.
  • 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming with C-Sharp, particularly as it relates to building and maintaining desktop applications in a professional environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and foundational understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn and upskill to modern web frameworks, specifically React, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and technology adoption.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and collaborative solutioning.

Responsibilities

  • design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for desktop applications using WPF and C-Sharp
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, maintainable software
  • Working effectively in Agile development environments
  • Actively engage in upskilling to React and assist in future migrations or enhancements
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Other

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional, user-friendly UI solutions.
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
