Leidos is seeking a React Developer to support a complex program for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) by providing Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems that screen and process travelers at U.S. ports of entry.
Requirements
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and working in a SecDevOps environment
- Experience working with containerized applications preferably utilizing Konvoy
- 3+ years’ experience developing cloud ready applications and/or experience migrating applications to the cloud.
- 2+ years of experience in one of the following: JAVA, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, Automated test tools such as Selenium.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following: React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, JSX, bootstrap, ES6, Redux, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node.
- Proficient in JAVA, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React and Angular and its core principles
Responsibilities
- architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems
- exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints
- participate in and/or direct major deliverable of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and working in a SecDevOps environment
- Experience working with containerized applications preferably utilizing Konvoy
- developing cloud ready applications and/or experience migrating applications to the cloud
- Experience with Microservices/RESTful APIs
Other
- BS/BA degree and 8 years of directly related experience or Master’s with 7 years of directly related experience; OR 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree
- Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
- Must be a US citizen
- This position REQUIRES the candidate to be in Ashburn, VA, twice a week
