Upbound Group is looking to solve real estate development and strategy problems through its Summer 2026 Internship program
Requirements
- Pursuing a major related to Construction, Real Estate, Market Planning or GIS with a Retail/Real Estate focus
- Knowledge of construction planning and preparation, market research, lease analysis, lease administration systems, and various data analytics tasks
Responsibilities
- Analytical and administrative projects related to the Upbound Group real estate strategy, along with annual construction and leasing plans
- Assist with mapping and data analysis, store location site reviews, store lease negotiation, construction management and store design, property management and lease administration
- Exposure to a broad variety of real estate functions within the team, with the opportunity to establish professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors
- Additional duties as assigned
Other
- Pursuing a major related to Construction, Real Estate, Market Planning or GIS with a Retail/Real Estate focus with an expected graduation between May 2026 and December 2027
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in our home office in Plano, Texas Monday through Friday
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
