Loopback Analytics is looking to solve the problem of innovating with leading-edge data lake and big data technologies to support specific research or business questions in the healthcare industry.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting/statistical language (Python, R).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS).
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, or pharmacy data) in an analytics or data science capacity or working in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, de-identification, and regulatory frameworks for health data.
  • Experience building and presenting data visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert for real-world data (RWD) and life sciences data products during sales cycles, client presentations, and discovery calls.
  • Translate customer cohort definitions and research questions into clear data requirements and feasibility analyses.
  • Develop and present proofs of concept (POCs) using internal data warehouse resources to demonstrate Loopback’s ability to support specific research or business questions.
  • Analyze Loopback’s large-scale healthcare data warehouse (claims, EHR, pharmacy, etc.) to create cohort extracts and deliverables for customers and partners.
  • Support data delivery, custom analytics, and ad-hoc data pulls as required by the customer lifecycle.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or life sciences field (e.g., Statistics, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related).
  • 2+ years’ experience working with large healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, or pharmacy data) in an analytics or data science capacity or working in a clinical setting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous client questions into actionable analyses.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
