OpenAI's Robotics team is building foundational capabilities at the intersection of hardware, software, autonomy, and operations. The team needs to grow rapidly, requiring a dedicated recruiter to manage full-cycle searches for specialized roles in engineering, hardware, and operations.
Requirements
- Have strong full-cycle recruiting foundations and can flex into sourcing deeply when needed.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy creating structure in a fast-moving, startup-like environment.
- Are organized, proactive, and able to drive searches forward with autonomy and clarity.
- Have experience supporting early-stage teams, startups, or VC incubators, and are comfortable acting as a hands-on talent partner in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for robotics roles across engineering, hardware, operations, and cross-functional domains.
- Build and maintain high-quality pipelines through a mix of outbound sourcing and inbound assessment.
- Partner closely with executives and senior ICs to refine searches and evaluate candidates.
- Guide candidates through a clear, thoughtful, and organized process.
- Close candidates with confidence and provide strong counsel on timing, trajectory, and role fit.
- Maintain reliable operational rigor across documentation, scheduling, and communication.
