ActioNet is looking to solve the business problem of providing administration and support for Treasury’s Linux-based systems, focusing on disaster recovery and continuity of operations, by hiring a Red Hat Linux Administrator.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Linux security hardening (DISA STIGs)
- Experience with shell scripting
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Experience with virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of Ansible automation
Responsibilities
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Patch and update Linux systems in compliance with security baselines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Document system configurations and SOPs.
- Support COOP exercises and failover testing.
Other
- Active Secret clearance (T-3)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- 5+ years of Red Hat Linux administration
