The company is looking to solve the problem of collecting, cleaning, and analyzing reinsurance treaty and facultative data to support risk assessment and pricing decisions in the financial services industry.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases.
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Python, or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Experience working with reinsurance administration systems (e.g., SICS, SAP, Genius, OpenTWINS) is an advantage.
- Experience in BDX-360
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts, including treaties, facultative reinsurance, ceded/assumed business, and loss development.
- Experience in data analysis, within the reinsurance industry
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze reinsurance treaty and facultative data, including premium, exposure, and claims information.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), loss ratios, and ceded premium trends.
- Analyze large data sets from internal systems and third-party sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Support bordereaux processing and validation to ensure correct reporting from ceding companies or brokers.
- Assist in ceded reinsurance accounting and reconciliation activities by providing data extracts and analysis.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipelines and integration of reinsurance systems (e.g., SICS, SAP FS-RI, or similar).
- Create ad hoc analyses and reports to support management, underwriting, actuarial, and compliance teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
