Requirements
- Working knowledge of IT systems, Agile, and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Experience with Atlassian Jira for release tracking and defect management
- Formal knowledge of Release management principles, processes, and tools
- Experience with Agile Project Management Tools
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software releases using Agile methodologies
- Utilize agile project management tools to track release progress, manage dependencies, and generate reports
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define release scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain release plans, timelines, and communication strategies
- Identify and manage release risks and issues, escalating as necessary
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and infrastructure for successful deployments
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with IT management, software development teams, test teams, and infrastructure teams
- Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensus
- Must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session
