The U.S. Government needs a Release Train Engineer to work on critical missions, utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps, and ensuring stakeholders' needs are properly prioritized and executed.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum
  • Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies
  • Background in Software Development, AI/ML, SecDevOps support toward government programs
  • Experience with software delivery management practices
  • Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating program-level risks and cross-team dependencies

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, tracks, and mitigates program-level risks and cross-team dependencies, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure smooth integration and delivery of value.
  • Monitors key performance indicators such as PI objectives, flow metrics, and risks; communicates status to stakeholders and leadership to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinates and manages deployments/releases across the AGIS Release train with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate ongoing ceremonies during the program increment, such as Scrum of Scrums, Backlog Refinement, and PO Syncs
  • Coach Release Train Engineers and Scrum masters on Agile processes and foster Continuous Improvement
  • Remove and/or Escalate impediments to progress, and foster culture of continuous improvement
  • Facilitate PI Planning Events including Pre and Post-PI Planning
