Requirements
- Experience working with predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound and motor current analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles applied to design, operation and maintenance of building structures and mechanical and electrical equipment for buildings
- Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects
- Certified Plant Engineer or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional
- Experience w/ Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure safe operations and maximize equipment reliability
- Apply efficient technologies to various building systems to reduce operating costs
- Utilize advanced maintenance strategies and predictive technologies to optimize system performance
- Perform operational event and equipment failure investigations
- Conduct program and system/equipment audits on a periodic and as needed basis
- Participate in the planning, design review, value management and construction document development of new facilities and renovations
- Support commissioning activities for all upgrade, renovation, and construction projects
Other
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with mechanical design/testing, international quality standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field of discipline from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in facilities/plant management
- On-site work in San Diego, CA
