The company is looking to drive operational excellence in facility management by ensuring safe operations, maximizing equipment reliability, and optimizing maintenance costs.

Requirements

  • Experience working with predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound and motor current analysis
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles applied to design, operation and maintenance of building structures and mechanical and electrical equipment for buildings
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects
  • Certified Plant Engineer or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional
  • Experience w/ Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure safe operations and maximize equipment reliability
  • Apply efficient technologies to various building systems to reduce operating costs
  • Utilize advanced maintenance strategies and predictive technologies to optimize system performance
  • Perform operational event and equipment failure investigations
  • Conduct program and system/equipment audits on a periodic and as needed basis
  • Participate in the planning, design review, value management and construction document development of new facilities and renovations
  • Support commissioning activities for all upgrade, renovation, and construction projects

Other

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with mechanical design/testing, international quality standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field of discipline from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience working in facilities/plant management
  • On-site work in San Diego, CA
