Improve process and equipment reliability in manufacturing plants to reduce unplanned production losses and achieve cost reduction goals at Eastman
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Mechanical engineering is highly preferred
- Previous reliability engineering experience, including experience in a chemical, petrochemical or related environment is required
- Strong basic engineering and reliability engineering skills, with the desire to learn advanced reliability engineering principles
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies
- Experience managing equipment preventive and predictive maintenance plan with asset management software (SAP preferred)
- Knowledge of common process equipment (pumps, fans, agitators, motors, valves, instrumentation etc.)
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with area operations to improve equipment availability and process reliability
- Lead projects that provide engineered solutions to complex problems that increase equipment and process reliability
- Partner with area maintenance to target reliability and maintainability issues, reduce cost, and improve productivity
- Lead and manage Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations
- Manage FMEA analyses on critical production assets
- Provide reliability input to capital projects as requested
- Guide problem solving teams to identify, design and implement improvements
