To maintain and troubleshoot control systems, including PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial networking, to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime at Graphic Packaging International.
Requirements
- Prior Delta V, Rockwell, Valmet DNA, ABB or Honeywell systems experience preferred
- Graduate of Rockwell AAM Rockwell Program, or bachelor or associate degree in an engineering discipline, controls engineering preferred
- Knowledge of AC and DC control systems
- Ability to use Industrial test equipment
- Ability to understand industrial networking
- Ability to troubleshoot control systems
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and diagnostic checks on PLC’s and instrumentation
- Maintain programming, hardware networking and communication systems
- Troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, instrumentation, networked controllers, process controllers, hydraulic control valves, pneumatic control valves and AC or DC motors and drives
- Ability to Read drawings such as electrical schematics, P&ID’s (control loops), and ladder logic as an aid in troubleshooting
- Ability to train maintenance technicians on control systems
- Ability to create, Evaluate and implement technical notes, SOPs, preventive/predictive maintenance programs on A.C. and D.C. motors, drives and other electrical equipment
