Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is looking to solve the business problem of maintaining and sustaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts at Arnold Engineering Development Complex at Arnold AFB, TN, by developing and implementing a Reliability Centered Maintenance/Preventive Maintenance (RCM/PM) Optimization program.
Requirements
- Reliability Centered Maintenance and/or Condition Based Maintenance coursework, training, or experience in any of the following areas: Reliability Engineering, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, or any of the predictive technologies utilizes in RCM/CBM such as infrared, vibration, ultrasound, electric motor testing, and oil sampling.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional—CMRP certification strongly preferred
- Interest and/or knowledge of large industrial operations and dynamic work schedule activities
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Oracle WAM
Responsibilities
- Ultimate responsibility for the development, and implementation of RCM/PM Optimization program at AEDC; Implementation of this program includes influencing Asset Managers and Asset Owners to produce a conscientious shift to a proactive maintenance program through a failure mode driven maintenance strategy, best practice planning & scheduling, proper application of reliability engineering principles, and the increased use of condition monitoring technologies
- Conduct training on the RCM process
- Ensure RCM analysis on critical systems
- Rewrite or create new PM’s or other interventions based on RCM analysis results
- Evaluate equipment failures and maintenance records (OWAMS, E-Matrix, etc) for inefficiencies, trends, common failure modes, etc. for systemic root causes and for a proactive shift to Condition Based Maintenance
- Prepare quarterly reports (and others as necessary) for Air Force review
- Perform Reliability Modeling of AEDC facilities
Other
- Current U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- S. degree in industrial or mechanical engineering from an accredited engineering college or university
- Less than 5 years’ engineering experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance
