International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive reliability excellence across global manufacturing sites and lead impactful change

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of equipment failure modes and RAGAGEP standards
  • Familiarity with Systems Applications and Products (SAP) Plant Maintenance and Meridium software (preferred)
  • Certified Reliability Professional (CRP) from the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (preferred)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) loss analysis
  • Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA+)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Maintenance and Reliability across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Lead implementation of key reliability workstreams, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) loss analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA+), Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO), Predictive Maintenance, and Work Management processes
  • Develop and train site-level SMEs in the use of reliability methodologies and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Site Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Leaders, Data Analysts, and Manufacturing Technology Engineers
  • Drive a reliability-focused mindset and culture throughout the organization
  • Ensure alignment with project timelines and execution of diagnostics and reliability methodology
  • Support compliance with Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) and internal standards

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, production processes, or manufacturing technology
  • Strong leadership and change management capabilities
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
