EAG - Engineering Services is seeking a Reliability Systems Engineer to join their team to deliver high-quality, on schedule delivery of working burn-in systems to the internal team, enabling semiconductor customers to qualify their devices.

Requirements

  • Strong technical understanding and excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills of system software and hardware.
  • Experience reading technical system instructions/manuals and schematics.
  • Experience in the use of instruments; DMM, oscilloscope, microscopes, etc.
  • Experience debugging new hardware to component level.
  • Ability to scope and capture digital and analog signals for the use in customer reporting and confirmation of device function.
  • Familiarity with ATE test patterns.
  • Experience with MCC (HPB4 and HPB5) and Incal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, on schedule delivery of working burn-in systems to the internal team, enabling semiconductor customers to qualify their devices.
  • Manage and maintain burn-in systems, including diagnostics, calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and system monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Reliability Operations team and management to plan and execute system support strategies in a timely manner.
  • Experience reading technical system instructions/manuals and schematics.
  • Experience in the use of instruments; DMM, oscilloscope, microscopes, etc.
  • Experience debugging new hardware to component level.
  • Ability to scope and capture digital and analog signals for the use in customer reporting and confirmation of device function.

Other

  • This position may require occasional travel between our Santa Clara and Irvine labs.
  • This position works with companies that deal with defense-related activities and is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

  • Excellent organizational, time management and computer skills, strong word processing, database management and spreadsheet skills.
