Ingredion is looking to hire a Reliability Engineering Co-Op to help drive improvements in the performance of maintenance processes by facilitating maintenance/reliability initiatives, executing projects to improve reliability and efficiency, and providing leadership and technical direction within the maintenance function.
Requirements
- Ability to learn/understand the corn wet milling process, and the systems and principals involved in its operation
- Familiarity with maintenance processes and Preventative Maintenance optimization
- Strong data analytics and Excel use
- Knowledge of SAP a plus, as it pertains to maintenance and operations
- Ability to tackle problems, identify improvement opportunities, implement action plans and follow-up to ensure results
Responsibilities
- Driving the continuous improvement of maintenance systems through development of criticality-based equipment strategies and route development including preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, and lubrication
- Providing technical maintenance support to the units
- Working with the team to help lead reliability data analysis efforts
- Identification prioritization of critical equipment
- Facilitating and supporting root cause problem elimination (RCPE) sessions
- Working with maintenance planners to provide input to planning schedule
- Evaluating and providing recommendations for PM Optimization

- Progress towards a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred
- Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term
