The immediate business problem is the need to significantly expand their dataset of smartphone-taken intraoral images to train their machine learning model effectively.
Requirements
- Experience with machine learning or computer vision
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with training or evaluating CV models
- Understanding of cloud deployment concepts
Responsibilities
- Dataset Acquisition and Expansion
- Contact universities, dental schools, professors, and biomedical imaging departments
- Use your own academic network, classmates, faculty members, and research organizations to locate smartphone-based intraoral datasets
- Identify research labs or departments willing to collaborate
- Work with college groups, nonprofit programs, or dental outreach clinics that may already have smartphone oral images
- Support labeling, cleaning, and dataset organization
Other
- Must have access to college networks, professors, or academic groups for dataset acquisition
- Interest in medical or dental imaging is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and work quickly
- Comfortable with a startup environment
