The company is looking to define and maintain a product vision for their data and AI/ML platform to improve decision-making and automation through data-driven insights and AI/ML initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data lakes, APIs, data warehousing, data ops).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and tools like Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle management, model deployment, and MLOps practices.
- Experience in agile/scrum environments with tools like Jira or Aha!.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and ethical AI principles.
- Cloud or data certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product vision for the data and AI/ML platform, aligned with business and technology goals.
- Manage and prioritize all aspects of the data product backlog in service of a best in class, comprehensive data experience (e.g. data pipelines & integrations, automation & cost optimization, and AI/ML models and initiatives)
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering and data science teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify data and AI opportunities that improve decision-making and automation.
- Ensure all data and AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Track progress against OKRs and measure the team’s impact on business goals through KPIs.
Other
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in data, analytics, or AI/ML-focused roles.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
- Foster an innovative, diverse team environment, promote positive team culture, encourage collaboration and self-organization.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent product certification.
