Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and modern web frameworks
- Deep understanding of relational databases and domain driven design
- Strong experience building RESTful APIs, webhook systems, and real-time data processing
- Track record of building robust integrations with third-party APIs and handling data synchronization challenges
- Ability to design scalable systems that handle real-time operations and background processing
- Comfortable working across the stack when needed—from database optimization to React components
- Experience with caching, query optimization, and handling high-throughput data processing
Responsibilities
- Design APIs and data models for vehicles, trailers, drivers, and their integrations with third-party telematics platforms (Motive)
- Build geofencing systems, vehicle telemetry pipelines, and location-based event processing that track our fleet across North America
- Develop complex routing algorithms, load matching systems, and automated dispatch workflows that optimize for range, charging, and profitability
- Create robust webhook processors and data pipelines that sync with external logistics providers, charging networks, and customer systems
- Architect and build the core systems that power our logistics operations—from real-time vehicle tracking and geofencing to load optimization and automated dispatch workflows
