TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Renewable Engineering Interns for their Summer 2026 intern program to support various project tasks and assist with engineering design work.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with engineering software applications (AutoCad, MathCad, ESRI, MicroStation, Bluebeam, Aspen, Solidworks etc.) is preferred but not required
- E.I.T is preferred but not required
- Has taken any Power, Power Systems, and/or Circuit courses
Responsibilities
- Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc.
- Assisting substations engineers in design work and project calculations
- Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation
- Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client
- May work on field assignments as needed
Other
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to work both independently and in a project team with demonstrated oral communication, professional judgement and team building skills.
- Willingness to learn, and benefit from professional judgment and critique.
- Willing to be a problem solver and overcome issues along the way.
- The candidate should have a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
