Baptist Health is looking to solve business intelligence and reporting problems using Epic EHR and other technologies to support key strategic organizational priorities, including population health management, clinical performance, finance and quality/operational performance.
Requirements
- Epic BID certification and/or proficiency preferred or required within one (1) year
- Epic EHR knowledge and experience preferred
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
- Prior report writing experience
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as SAP Business Objects, Qliksense, Crystal Reports, Microsoft BI stack
- Experience with Business Intelligence development lifecycle
- Knowledge of designing and planning BI solutions
Responsibilities
- works with internal and external customers to understand and analyze requirements and develop business intelligence (BI) solutions using underlying technologies
- contributes to the design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of Epic reporting and analytic solutions
- build new data sets and data structures as required to support business needs and regulatory requirements
- assist with strategies and visualizations that will help the team deliver a more comprehensive solution for the Organization
- develop business intelligence solutions using Epic EHR/Reporting with financial and/or clinical expertise
- design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of Epic reporting and analytic solutions supporting key strategic organizational priorities
- write relational and multidimensional database queries
Other
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and four years related experience, or two years’ direct experience in lieu of a degree
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
