The Ohio State University's Government Resource Center is looking to solve problems related to maternal health and chronic conditions through applied health services, quality improvement, and population health research.
Requirements
- Demonstrated usage of R, SAS, or Stata for data analysis
- R coding experience is preferred
- Experience working on quality improvement initiatives or population health research
- Training in quality improvement science is preferred
Responsibilities
- leads or assists with the development of quantitative and qualitative data collection protocols and instruments
- provides technical assistance for the development and coding of measures
- reviews Electronic Health Record (EHR) data received from clinical sites participating in quality improvement collaboratives
- analyzes data including developing quantitative reports and visualizations with aggregated results of quality or population health metrics
- composes technical reports, manuals, and presentation materials
- presents results in clear format to non-technical audiences
- designs and executes linkage strategies for connecting administrative datasets
Other
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study
- Requires successful completion of a background check
- Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required
- Ability to work in a team setting and complete work independently on tasks with moderate complexity
