Responsibilities
- create SQL/Python queries, data modeling, and dashboards that extract, analyze, and visualize data from the Aircraft Health and Trend Monitoring System (AHTMS) in Databricks
- transforming raw aircraft health data into actionable insights that decrease aircraft downtime and prevent aircraft on ground events
- Extract and transform data from internal databases using Power Query
- Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements
- Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions
- Assists with defining test conditions and comprehensive test plans
- Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements

- Highly analytical and process-oriented with in-depth knowledge of data research methodologies, data manipulation, and visualization
- Skilled in analyzing and converting data into actionable insights required
- Create and maintain shared document libraries for multiple teams within MS SharePoint
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- 3 years relevant business/technical experience.
- Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
- Under general supervision prepares requirements, specifications, and business process maps.
- Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities.
- Participates in design reviews for implementation projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.
