The business problem is to develop a system to solve a given business problem for Peraton by eliciting, understanding, analyzing, and documenting the requirements for the system.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency with collaboration and analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong documentation skills, including experience writing BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
- Proven success leading complex initiatives from discovery through delivery.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and analysis of complex business, functional, and system requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and cross-functional meetings to define business needs and priorities.
- Conduct detailed gap, impact, and process analyses to inform solution design.
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and decision models that support development and implementation.
- Collaborate with product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, proposing enhancements, and developing process documentation.
- Support organizational change management by defining communication plans, user training needs, and success metrics.

- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
