Enhancing data management and business insight to support Alfa Insurance's strategic plan
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or Information Systems
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and software tools/languages designed for analytical work a plus (SAS, SQL, R, Python, SPSS, other)
Responsibilities
- Query, assimilate, and translate data into usable formats for use by and under supervision of the Research Manager
- Create and integrate information using data from multiple source systems (Exceed, Legacy, GW, etc.), the Enterprise Data Warehouse and third-party data
- Create and maintain highly technical product requirement documents
- Contribute to the creation and continual maintenance of data mapping documents, report documents, and metadata
- Use advanced data modeling techniques to enhance managerial decision making (multidimensional analysis, data visualization, etc.)
- Meet with user groups to define, build, and validate requirements for data and reports
- Ability to conceive, specify, pilot, and implement analytical and data delivery projects
