ESPN Research team needs to inform ESPN and the larger Walt Disney Company on how sports and specific sports content and products are performing and how the ESPN business can drive even greater consumption in the future by analyzing viewership data.
Requirements
- Experience reporting on and using Nielsen’s TV viewership suite products (NNTV, NPower, etc.).
- Web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and Conviva.
- Experience with Data Visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI and Microstrategy.
- Proficiency in SQL, LookerML, Python, and R
- Proficiency in SQL, LookerML, Python, and R.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on ESPN’s cross-platform viewership performance and trends.
- Analyze and report on ESPN’s Direct-to-Consumer viewership behaviors and performance.
- Lead engagement with Data partners on tooling for cross-platform analyses.
- Lead the reporting and communications of assigned sports performance across platforms through standard reporting and presentation building.
- Translate findings and deliver clear actionable insights to management to grow engagement with assigned sports.
Other
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within media, agency, league or research/analytics vendor.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Understanding of the market positioning and strategies of ESPN and the Walt Disney Company.
- Collaborative nature and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to produce original ideas when analyzing problems.
