Oakland University is looking to support student success initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights to campus stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Data analysis and Business Intelligence Tools such as SPSS, SAS, Python, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Experience with Elluician Banner
- Experience in predictive analytics
Responsibilities
- designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics tools
- data collection, transformation, analysis, reporting of student success programs
- developing platforms to track and monitor students behaviors and academic performance
- transform raw data into actionable insights
- create interactive data visualizations to support student success initiatives
- data structural and SQL queries
- data visualization and reporting tools
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, computer information systems, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in data analytics and applied research or social science research
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Master’s Degree
- Experience in higher education
