Oakland University is looking to support student success initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights to campus stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Data analysis and Business Intelligence Tools such as SPSS , SAS , Python, SQL , Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
- Proficient with data structural and SQL queries
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Experience with Elluician Banner
- Experience in predictive analytics
- Python
- SQL
Responsibilities
- designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics tools
- providing actionable insights to campus stakeholders
- collecting, transforming, analyzing, and reporting data on student success programs
- developing platforms to track and monitor students behaviors and academic performance
- supporting retention, persistence, and graduation outcomes
- creating interactive data visualizations to support student success initiatives
- transforming raw data into actionable insights
Other
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in data analytics and applied research or social science research
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, computer information systems, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Master’s Degree
- Experience in higher education
