Intermountain Healthcare is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist in managing clinical research studies and ensure the efficient coordination of these studies by working closely with clinical investigators, physicians, department managers, and others.
Requirements
- Experience using basic computer programs including Microsoft word processing, database, spreadsheet applications and e-mail.
- Prior experience in a research, academic or healthcare setting.
- Prior experience working with laboratory protocol, systems and documentation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, preparation, shipment, and evaluation of laboratory samples, and when applicable safely operate laboratory equipment in compliance with trainings and regulations.
- Provide data entry and appropriate documentation into Intermountain departmental and study-related external programs.
- Maintains research records in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Archives research study records at study closure.
- Schedule monitoring and vendor visits and manage study kit inventory.
- Assist with prescreening activities by reviewing medical records of potential participants.
- Collect, input, and maintain data in Intermountain and external databases.
