The Dell Medical School is seeking a Research Assistant to support the research team at Factor Health Lab by conducting research experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records for a temporary, part-time position.
Requirements
- Skilled in analyzing complex data sets.
- Proficient in using research software and tools.
- Understands laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Experience with biomedical measurements (i.e., blood pressure, finger stick)
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes data using statistical methods and software including RedCap, Excel, Box, project specific websites, and other software and databases to enter data and track study activities.
- Ensures data integrity and accuracy.
- Conducts study visits, participant outreach, and measurements.
- Assists in designing and executing experiments.
- Follows established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitors compliance with safety and ethical standards.
- Prepares research reports and presentations in RedCap and PowerPoint.
Other
- Outreaching to patients to assess their interest in research program, and obtaining written consent from patients.
- Serves as a point of contact for study participants.
- Travels to field sites for data collection.
- Conducts interviews and surveys as required.
- Spanish speaking.
