Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant to support neurophysiology experiments, data analysis, and computational modeling to advance research in areas such as advanced manufacturing, bioengineering, and robotics.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate instruments for measuring electromyography and inertial measurement data
- Write and use custom software in Matlab to analyze EMG and IMU data
- Write summary reports of experiments and analysis in form of primary journal articles
