IQVIA is seeking a Research Associate to support the antibody library construction pipeline by building and performing quality control on innovative antibody libraries using advanced molecular biology techniques.
Requirements
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, and primer design.
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology techniques (PCR, cloning, yeast/bacteria/mammalian cell handling).
- Ability to follow, understand, and write/edit SOPs; familiarity with electronic lab notebooks.
- Proficiency in data analysis, calculations, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities
- Execute antibody library construction following approved protocols.
- Apply molecular biology methods (PCR, cloning, primer design, sequence analysis) at high throughput while maintaining quality standards.
- Work with yeast, bacteria, and mammalian cells for growth, transformation, miniprep, and RNA extraction.
- Contribute to design and execution of routine methods/assays under moderate supervision.
- Participate in technical discussions, experimental design, and data review.
- Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
- Support maintenance and operational standards of laboratory equipment.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required.
- 1–2 years of related experience in method development or specific methodology area, or a Master’s degree.
- Effective organizational, communication, and time management skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.
