Baxter is looking to solve the business problem of sustaining existing products and developing new ones by hiring a Mass Spectrometry Laboratory Analyst to support R&D projects, develop and validate analytical methods, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of mass spectrometry and chromatography (gas and/or liquid).
- A solid understanding of ICH guidelines and current Good Practice (cGxP) standards.
Responsibilities
- Engage in laboratory testing as part of research and development initiatives aimed at sustaining market products and pioneering new product developments.
- Participate in the development, evaluation, and validation of new analytical methods to analyze raw materials and finished products, primarily using targeted LC-MS analysis.
- Document and review results meticulously in electronic laboratory notebooks, adhering to established Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Create and update equipment and analytical procedures, and assist in the procurement of raw materials and analytical equipment.
- Analyze experimental data and present insightful conclusions to your supervisor, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Write comprehensive protocols and reports in English, ensuring clarity and precision in communication.
- Uphold quality system requirements, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GDP standards, as well as environmental, health, and safety guidelines.

- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences) with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience, or a PhD with 0+ years of experience.
