Carnegie Mellon University's Ray and Stephanie Lane Computational Biology Department is looking to solve complex biological questions using computational methods and is seeking a Research Associate to assist in the development and execution of experimental protocols and analysis of biological data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computational Biology, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 1 year of hands-on experience in working with biological data
  • A combination of education and meaningful experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
  • Master's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Working with and analyzing biological data
  • Developing data
  • Implementing experimental protocols and documenting research
  • Conducting literature reviews to stay updated on the latest methodologies in biomolecular condensates
