Georgia Tech's Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMSCS) program needs to expand its research and teaching capacity to address the growing demand for high-quality computer science talent.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree with Five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Teaching 6 credit hours of coursework in computer networking and/or internet research methods per semester (spring, summer, and fall) in the OMSCS and OMS-Cybersecurity programs.
- Advising student research projects in internet research, data analytics, computer networking, and related fields, especially for online MSCS students.
- Overseeing PhD students mentoring online MSCS students on similar projects related to internet research, data analytics, computer networking, and related fields.
- Conducting intramural research on student progress through the program, including student course selection, predicting student success, and predicting admissions decisions.

- Master's degree with seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or

- Doctoral degree with four (4) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree with Eleven (11) years of relevant full-time experience or
- Doctoral degree with Seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree
