Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Research Associate to work on an interdisciplinary project focused on the development and evaluation of Privacy Technology for Smart Cities, building on existing Internet of Things Privacy Infrastructure.

- Good experience in software development
- Experience in user modeling and user-centered design
- Great understanding of user centered design
Responsibilities
- Developing, piloting and refining extensions of IOT Privacy Infrastructure technology in collaboration with the City of Long Beach.
- Conceptual design, development, and empirical evaluation of privacy technology and infrastructure
- Conduct research and participate in large-scale software projects
- Research and analysis on usable privacy and security

- Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
