The Ohio State University's Department of Radiation Oncology is looking to solve the problem of investigating immunology, cancer biology, and neuroscience and experimental therapeutic techniques for the treatment of various cancers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Master's Degree or PhD in oncology, immunology, or metabolism sciences preferred
- 1 year of relevant experience required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversees and maintains accurate records of laboratory activities
- Collaborates with principal investigator (PI) to develop and implement goals and objectives of studies
- Conceptualizes, designs, and executes complex laboratory experiments, including routine procedures on lab animals
- Plans and performs advanced molecular and cellular techniques and animal studies
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets research data
- Develops and implements new and/or revised research methodologies and techniques
- Performs critical analysis of literature relevant to research
