Agilent is looking to develop accurate, robust, and precise assays for cancer drugs within the field of precision medicine, and this role aims to provide technical support to achieve this goal.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of lab experience utilizing tools, systems, and following laboratory procedures is required.
- Candidates with 2-6+ years in industry lab work, such as IHC Scoring, histology, and pathology lab work, are highly desired!
- Research or experience in in situ hybridization, fluorescent techniques, protein biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology is highly desirable.
- Experience with tumor biology is a plus!
- Requires general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures to accomplish the job.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with speed and focus.
Responsibilities
- Performs research and/or development in collaboration with others to develop immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH) assays based on new and existing methodologies.
- May conduct testing of analytical samples for the laboratory area.
- Conducts work in compliance with GMP (as required), safety, and regulatory requirements.
- May provide analysis and evaluation of materials and products at all stages of the development process.
- Makes detailed observations, analyzes data, and interprets results.
- Perform routine analysis using automated platforms and instrumentation.
- Initially exposed to scientific protocol and report writing
Other
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a science-related discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline, is required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Travel is not required for this position.
- The position has a full-time weekly schedule.
- Ability to work onsite three days per week and remotely for two days.
