The Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (BIDS) division needs a Research Coordinator to support grants and projects led by BIDS faculty, facilitating team communication, coordinating research study execution, and supporting grant proposals and research dissemination.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and task tracking and/or project management software
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly with regard to supporting documenting of grant proposals, interpreting and implementing protocols, and collecting data to ensure accuracy and integrity

Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and maintenance of IRB protocols and other study documentation
- Organize, document, and assist with leading research project team meetings
- Track project objectives, milestones, and deliverables, to ensure that research activities remain on schedule
- Provide project updates to team members, leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Assist investigators to produce publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations to academic, organizational, and community audiences
- Assist in tracking publications and in research product dissemination
- Assist with grant proposal development in collaboration with investigators and research administrators
Other
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- Handle protected health information and human subject issues with sensitivity
- Maintain budgets and monitor project spending
- This is a time limited position.
