The Office of Epidemiology is seeking an individual to join the HIV surveillance team to manage, analyze, and report on HIV surveillance data, ensuring accuracy and identifying trends.
Requirements
- SAS proficiency preferred
- Experience with other programming languages (R, python) and data visulation software (Tableau) a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of HIV surveillance data
- Respond to internal and external data requests
- Prepare summary data reports for various audiences
- Analyze HIV surveillance data to identify patterns, trends and emerging issues
Other
- Background in data collection, data management, research methods, and/or health information analysis and presentation.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
