The Department of Surgery is seeking a Research Data Analyst to assist in the analytic datasets incorporating data from multiple sources, especially healthcare claims data, EHR data, and public health datasets, to develop and implement study designs while maintaining data quality assurance procedures to ensure validity and reliability of study results. The Research Data Analyst is critical to executing our nationally funded healthcare research.

- Collect data and generate reports and models.
- Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.
- Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study.
- Conduct statistical analyses utilizing standard and statistical software packages.
- Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings.
- Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database.
