The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is seeking a dynamic Research Data Analyst I to identify root causes of data quality issues and develop data quality checks and procedures in a fast-paced remote centered environment.

- Experience identifying root causes of data quality issues and developing data quality checks and procedures

Responsibilities
- Perform all basic and entry-level functions related to research project
- Gather and validate statistics for data collection studies as they relate to particular insurance needs or mandated by code
- Develop follow-up procedures for these studies/projects
- Provide management with status reports
- Learn all related software and analytical tools used by the Data Analytics and Reporting (DAR)
- Use multi-tasking techniques, problem solving skills, communication skills, strong organization/planning techniques in a highly complex environment
- Work as a team member in gathering and validating statistics for data collection studies
