The Department of Developmental Services (Department) needs to perform in-depth data analysis and reporting, technical research, and program narratives to accomplish the objectives of the Branch. This involves analyzing data, cleaning and transforming it, interpreting findings, and presenting the work to peers and managers.
Requirements
- Specify the number of years of experience and level of proficiency you have on SQL, Python, and/or PowerBI/Tableau.
- describe the most advanced project where you used SQL and/or Python.
- Use example(s) to describe your experience on implementing research methods or developing hypotheses to answer or address research questions.
- Knowledge of: Working in GrantVantage or similar grant program data management system, descriptive and inferential statistics, computational skills using SQL, Python, PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Ability to: Apply descriptive quantitative methods (under direction) to share knowledge, critical thinking, including the ability to reason logically and creatively
- Ability to: Develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools and equipment
- Ability to: complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner

- The RDA II works closely with fellow team members to achieve this objective and in conjunction with the Service Access and Equity Division and/or other programs in the Department.
- Incumbent must live and work in California.
