Medicom is seeking to support its Intellect platform by hiring a Research Data Analyst Intern to play a key role in data discovery, analysis, and sampling processes that support commercial and research projects, solving longstanding interoperability challenges for clinicians, staff, patients, and researchers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), including: Writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures, Performing ETL processes, Managing database objects (tables, views, constraints, etc.), Analyzing large datasets for reporting and quality assurance
- Experience with Python for data scripting or automation
- Familiarity with healthcare imaging data (DICOM) or interest in healthcare analytics
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform initial data exploration and cohort identification within data provider environments
- Write and execute SQL queries to support data extraction and reporting
- Use Python scripts to assist with DICOM data discovery and transformation
- Maintain and understand basic data specifications
- Utilize internal tools to identify and prepare data cohorts
- Conduct basic quality control checks on sample data
- Prepare and deliver datasets to AWS environments

- Part-Time (22–25 hours/week, not to exceed 30 hours/week)
- Minimum commitment of 6 months
- Hourly Rate: $30/hr
